The Maryland Crime Prevention Association is proud to
announce that it will be hosting the 2010 Annual Crime Prevention Conference in
Ocean City Maryland, October 12-15. This year has presented many challenges for
law enforcement and community due to the tough economy and budget cuts many
organizations have experienced. We, as an organization, recognize these problems
and have worked hard to achieve this year’s program.
Our team has brought many partners to the table and has
incorporated various ways to keep costs to a minimum. These efforts were done to
keep our members a priority and to keep a program in place that has been a
corner stone of this organization.
This year’s event will be hosted at the Paradise Plaza Inn.
The Paradise Plaza Inn has made our program possible by offering unprecedented
pricing for their facility. The owners of the Paradise Plaza Inn and Sunsations
have been members and generous contributors to the Maryland Crime Prevention
Association for many years and have seen the success and value of the
organization. This event will be a more intimate event and will only be
available for the first fifty registered.
The Paradise is offering rooms from $29.95 to $89.95
dollars a night. Listed is the pricing for the rooms:
$29.95 - ocean block
$39.95 - ocean view
$44.95 - Ocean front
$89.95 - Suite/Jacuzzi suites
When making your room arrangements for the MCPA event
provide the reservations taker with code #651 and the type of room you
want to receive our special pricing. Our room pricing is secured through
September 15, 2010. Any reservations made after September 15th will be based on
availability and may not be at the conference price. Extended stay conference
pricing is being honored by the Paradise Plaza to attendees. All extended stay
reservations must be made in advance and are based on availability.
The conference fee for this year’s event has been slashed
to $99.00.
We will provide the same high standards and top-quality speakers you have come
to know with this event . Each morning will open with a full breakfast. For your
enjoyment, the hospitality suite will be in place in the evenings.
