The mission of the Maryland Crime Prevention Association, Inc. (MCPA) is to facilitate the promotion and advancement of crime prevention information and activities in the state of Maryland. The MCPA organization is committed to effective and efficient crime prevention programming throughout Maryland. We are a collaboration of crime prevention practitioners throughout Maryland and surrounding states. Members include police, sheriff, correctional and security professionals, business people and community leaders. MCPA, Inc. is a 501(C)(3) organization so your donation is tax deductible. Election of Officers 2018
Nominations for the 2018 MCPA Board Member selection will begin in November. Elections will run in January, date TBA. Election submissions for the available positions of President and Second Vice President need to be received no later than December 31st. Your involvement will help in the continued promotion and advancement of crime prevention information and education throughout the state of Maryland and beyond. Current officers will announce their intentions to run for current offices in November.
If you would like to run for a specific office and have been a member in good standing for a term of at least one year, please submit your willingness to run for a position to email@example.com. Please be sure to include your full name, contact phone and the officer position you are interested in. Also please include a brief biography, a head shot and what changes or programs you can offer in the support and advancement of this organization.
The Maryland Crime Prevention Association is partnering with EmbroidMe of Westminster in their effort to raise funds to provide a TrackChair to a disabled veteran. The cost to provide one TrackChair is approximately fifteen to seventeen thousand dollars. Please help us help the disabled be enabled. Your donation is fully tax deductible.
